NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee-based hospitality group A. Marshall Hospitality (AMH) has announced the closure of Deacon’s New South in downtown Nashville. The restaurant will serve its final guests on Saturday, Oct. 24, following nearly a decade of serving the Nashville community.
The decision comes amid continued economic pressures and reflects the hospitality group’s ongoing efforts to evaluate its operations, positioning its family of restaurants for long-term sustainability.

While we will certainly miss welcoming guests to Deacon’s. We are proud of what we have built and the memories made here. We look forward to seeing our guests just down the street at Puckett’s Nashville.”

The closure comes on the heels of the recent closures of two Puckett’s Restaurant locations in Cullman, Ala., and Hendersonville, Tenn.
